Prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the Race Director.
Categories may include:-
- Best rendition of a carol when requested by the RO
- Best ‘headgear’
- Best Christmas themed outfit
- Best Christmas decoration made during the race
- Best Limerick composed and performed to competitors after the race
- Various acts of sailing mastery to be completed when required by the RO. These may include
- Sailing backwards for at least 3 boat lengths
- Completing a 360 whilst on a beat. Competitors may not use a 720 penalty turn to complete this
- MoB recovery
- Youngest helm
- Oldest bow
- Anything else we make up between now during and after the race
