Saturday 27th May sees the first in a series of 3 Topper Challenges.
Set in the Salthouse Dock with the Iconic Royal Albert Dock as a backdrop.
A series of 3 races per flight of 6 entrants, on a handicap system in order to equal the playing field & possibly topple the mighty!
There’s a lot of interest shown so far so get your names down… there’s trophies & prizes to be won with lots of sailing & fun on race days.
As well as participants, shore crew & any helpers are welcome. We’ll be running a promotional campaign for LYC with “discover sailing” initiatives. Plenty of flyers to hand out & people to chat too.
Our Rear Commodore & others will be providing victualling through out the day!
Prep starts at 12.00, first race around 13.00hrs, last race depends on number of entries.
A series of knockout races, course decided on the day!
Please come along to sail, watch, help out & or just cheer your favourites, it’ll certainly be a pretty special event!
Prizes and apres’ sail in the winners choice of bar or maybe one of our flag officers could secure us a place somewhere?
